The Division of Infectious Diseases provides treatment and support for patients with HIV, AIDS and other infectious diseases -- particularly those that further complicate the health of cancer or organ transplant patients.
We also provide international travel medicine services for individuals going or returning from abroad.

Research is an important element of improving patient care
Members of the Division of Infectious Diseases are on the faculty of Columbia
University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and are members of St.
Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center's Department of Medicine. They are committed
to participating in leading-edge research involving both institutions.
Division members often participate in studies of new antiviral drugs for HIV and viral hepatitis.
