Pre-Surgical Visits and Tours for Ambulatory Surgery:
A visit to the hospital prior to admission provides the opportunity for your child and family to see the hospital environment, meet some of the staff and ask questions to alleviate the stress and worry surrounding the unknown and unfamiliar. The Child Life Specialist will provide a developmentally appropriate discussion about what will happen during your child's admission, during surgery and a tour of the unit and our surgery center.

Please contact the Child Life Specialist, Maryanne Verzosa, to make an appointment, please call (212) 523-3526 or email MVerzosa@chpnet.org.
